What we collect

• Email address (for authentication and service emails sent through Resend)
• Your Linear profile (name, avatar) and cycle data via OAuth
• Goals, retrospective cards, and actions you create in the app
• Support messages sent through Crisp if you contact us

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data
• We don't share your data with third parties for advertising
• We don't use your data for advertising
• We don't use your data to train AI models

Analytics

We use PostHog (EU-hosted) to understand usage patterns and improve the product. IP addresses are anonymized. Analytics data is never shared or used for advertising.

AI processing

better-cycle uses AI (OpenAI) to generate retrospective insights. Your data is processed but never used for model training. AI suggestions should be reviewed by your team before acting on them.

Data storage

Your data is hosted on MongoDB (EU). Connections are encrypted in transit (TLS). Payments are processed by Stripe — we never store your card details. Transactional emails are sent through Resend.

Your rights

For any request about your data, including export or deletion, contact us at hello@better-cycle.app. In V1, these requests are handled manually and we respond within 30 days.

The service

better-cycle is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it available but can't guarantee 100% uptime. You retain all rights to your data. Content generated through the service belongs to you.

We may update this page from time to time. We'll update the date above when we do.
